In the color eps they sleep together fully dressed. An indication they fear being gay?

well actually most guys won't sleep together naked or in there underwear unless they are gay. I don't know any straight guys who would sleep next to eachother in there underwear.

**stares at the screen for a while, not quite sure how to answer this one**
Okay, um, let's first clarify that they don't sleep "together", per se. They share a hut. So do Ginger and Mary Ann. Me and two other girls shared a room this weekend in NYC, two had to share a bed. Big deal. (I admit that girls are more inclined to do that without worrying about labels and stuff, but still...)
The Skipper was a manly man and tried to be that way. Today he may be considered homophobic, but this was the 60's: everything was taboo on television. **shrug** Interpret whatever you want, but that's just me.

I don't think in the 60's they would have shown them in
their undewear, much less naked.

Joey Green in his Gilligan's Island book suggested that Gilligan and Skipper were so homophobic that they slept together fully dreessed. Don't blame this notion on me!
