Has anyone heard if Ron Howard will act again. Is there still any talk of a Happy Days Reunion movie?

There is still talk of another HD reunion, I have no idea if its ever gonna be done....Hopefully it will, but nobody is sure right now.
I dunno about Ron Howard though...:crazy:

Well, Crystal, You may have to wait, but Ron was widely quoted during the past year as saying Russell Crowe had offered him a (very) small role in a film he intends to direct called "The Long Green Shore." Ron said he will do anything for Russell as they have become friends, and joked that the role was only about 6 lines. So, anyway, it was just announced this week that Ron and Russell will be doing another movie together, "The Cinderella Man" with filming starting in Nov. 2003. In the same article, it mentions Russell planning to make his debut as a director for "The Long Green Shore" in 2004. Thus there is still a chance to get to see Ron acting again. Will keep you all informed if I hear anything!

Also, about 2 years ago, Ron also stated (during an online chat) he was not planning to participate in any reunion shows for either Andy Griffith or Happy Days, but that none were in the works. His main passion is directing, and I don't think he would take time off from this to appear in something such as this. He also said that when he does have free time, he prefers to be with his family.

:faint: No way Jose!! LOl. He might wanna focus on the family and his movies, but c'mon Ron-- do some clips for a reunion or something!! I cant stand it when the stars of the show arent in the reunions or whatever. Well, hes done reunions before, so I dont think he'd refuse. If they did a movie-- make him direct it!!!

Yeah...And Henry Winkler can produce it. But Chachi better not have that blond hair in it LOL

And if all else fails, Im sure they could get Al Roker to be Richie in it instead.

So, Chad. Is it the hair thing that makes Al seem a candidiate to play Richie? Or that they both he and Ron are New Yorkers? :rolleyes:

I did forget that Ron had a small voice only role in an animated portion of a movie that no one saw called "Osmosis Jones." I caught it on cable, and it is pretty funny. Ron plays a very sincere, do-gooder organism running for mayor of Bill Murray's body. (You have to see it to appreciate what this means). The cartoon character looks like Ron, but he has hair.:D

Actually, I Think if they were to make an all new HD movie, Rather thn a reunion, I Think Big Pete from Pete and Pete would be a great choice to play Richie.

And that guy that played Louis on Alex Mack would be a good Ralph :lol:

Okay, I thought I would ask this again since it has been awhile. How many of you think or have heard if Ron Howard is going to act again?

I've only heard that Ron said he would take the role that Russell Crowe offered him in a movie Crowe was directing. Otherwise I haven't heard anything more. Ron is suppose to be in Albuquerque directing a movie right now.
