Until recently I never watched the Cosby show on a regular basis, but I've been watching it on Nick@Night and I don't remember the dining room being off the kitchen in the earlier episodes. Was that added to the set sometime during the run of the show? Another question about rooms is I can't quite place where in the house is Clair's special room that she got in the last season. Thank you for any information you can give me.

There is no doubt about it that the set changed a lot from the pilot to the finale. However, I'm not 100% sure if it was added or if it was there from the beginning.

Wasn't Claire's little room Cliff's office at one time?

Now that N@N is showing the early episodes of The Cosby Show, I have been able to check out the dining room situation myself. They do have the dining room off the kitchen, but the scenes are usually not shot at an angle where it is visible. Last night though I got a good look at the dining room from the kitchen.
