Has anyone ever seen a copy of Sophia's purse? It's not like I want to buy one, but I've never seen another one like it. I'm sure they ran through several of them during the show.

I think my grandmother who resembled Sophia almost to a T had a purse like that! Sophia would stuff food in there all the time-remember Rose's cream chipped beef-she ate it right out of her purse and said with a little seasoning, it wasn't half bad! And all the things she used to swipe like that silverware or the goodies from the hospital...that poor purse of hers has been through a lot!

Sorry, Jayman, but I also have never seen a purse like that.

(I think it's funny that Sophia carries it everywhere, even when she's, like, in pajamas or something.)

Yeah! It'll be in the middle of the night and the other 3 will be in the kitchen eating and she walks in with her purse...:lol:

Lol, it is funny watching her carry it everywhere. She also mentioned it herself one time. I think it was when she was about to go out with Julio Iglesias:

In the 1991 episode "From Here To The Pharmacy", Sophia's original purse shrank down to the size of a change purse, as she said when the broken tube of Preparation H got all over it, and Dorothy bought her a new one. I'm sure it was the same purse!!lol
