I'm glad Robert and Amy are engaged. Robert deserves to finally be happy.

I want Robert and Amy to get married but this episode was stupid. The only thing I laughed at was when Marie said she was getting Robert's tux from the same people who do the circus. More Peter Boyle! Fred Willard was great, BTW.

What happend to "Pee Wee Herman". In this weeks show he does not play the comic book selling brother?

Ummm, Pee Wee is kind of busy with some "legal" issues.

Speaking of Amy's brother... did anyone else find it ummm a bit strange that her BROTHER knew who she lost her virginity to? I've heard of being close to your siblings but that's just kinda sick.

I wonder if the wedding will actually take place. Amy's parents were funny. Even funnier was her crazy brother Peter played by one of my favorites, Chris Elliot.

Maybe there will be a spinoff about Amy's family?!?

I'm glad they're getting married. I really like Amy and think she is a good match for Robert. Let's just hope they get married and get it over with instead of dragging out the relationship like Friends usually does.

I thought it was pretty cool the way Robert proposed to her - having the Police cars pull up, surrounding Amy and Debra, with Robert then walking up to Amy in his dress uniform. I hope they go through with the wedding.

(Of course, in real life, those cops would have gotten into big trouble for misusing their Police Cars that way!)

thought the episode was great! amy's parents were terrific and hope we see more of them in future episodes. agree that they need to bring this to a conclusion with a marriage. while that would "shut down" some themes it opens up so many areas to be explored, particularly between amy's and robert's parents! this new dimension would be good for at least 2 more seasons!

I agree! It's similar to the Niles - Daphne relationship on "Fraiser". The suituation with Niles secretly being in love with Daphne, but Daphne not realizing it, went on far too long. Now that they are together, it's help to breathe new life into that show. I think the same thing will be true if Robert and Amy get married. Also, as you've pointed out Izzy, I think it would be a good idea to keep Amy's family as semi-regulars on the show. It opens up a lot of new storylines.

I like Chris Elliot, he's a good choice to play Amy's brother. I also
loved him in Scary Movie 2.
