It's unrelated to the series, plus unfunny as hell. Aside from seeing Matt LeBlanc 12 years ago, what's the point of airing it? Syndicators forced to?

View Full Version : "Top of the Heap" pilot...why re-air this in sydie??? Mcfly 02-04-2003, 12:40 AM It's unrelated to the series, plus unfunny as hell. Aside from seeing Matt LeBlanc 12 years ago, what's the point of airing it? Syndicators forced to? Brian Damage 02-04-2003, 02:08 PM If it originally aired as Married with Children episode, it should be a part of the syndication package. BundyBoy10 04-26-2003, 05:41 PM Yes, it was episode 100. afcassidy 05-13-2003, 04:27 PM Sigh... it should be in there, no question, but I hated that show so much. I remember seeing it and thinking "I was robbed this week... I wanted a MWC episode and they replaced it with something of SUCH AN INCREDIBLE low quality..." Wow, it sucked. Tyler77 05-15-2003, 10:35 PM The only association between "Top Of the Heap" and MWC is that Al was best friends with Vinnie's dad back in high school, and Al's in the episode for only a couple of minutes, and that's the only reference to MWC to ever be in the pilot. I'll never forget how Vinnie's very cute neighbor Mona kept coming on to him, and begging to go out with him, and Vinnie would always refuse!! I think the actress who played Mona (Jo Adams??) was one of those women who you'd see in the hair metal videos of the 80's. But yes, the show was bad. |
