I'm looking for the theme song set to alternative music, Hip Hop, Rock, or? for my kids elementary school talent show. They want to act out the theme song to Gilligan's Isle and dance it as well. Any ideas where I can track some down? Someone said they heard an alternate compilation but I need more info, perhaps an artist's name? Thanks for any help!

Go to http://www.cdconnection.com and set the search fields at the top of the page. The first is a click down list that you need to set to "Search by song title". The second one is the search field which you will set to "gilligan's" then click on "go" to get a list of all in-print cd's that contain a song whose title has the word gilligan's in it. For each of these, click on "details" to see info about the cd including song titles.

You will get a few false hits due to Irish folk songs. But this gets both Island and Isle in one fell swoop and there are only 17 hits.

Some of them have sound clips that you can hear if you have a sound card.
