I'm a new viewer of "Sanford & Son" and I love it! My dad always watched it when it was on but I never watched it until now. The last few episodes I've skipped over because Fred isn't in them and they are boring. I love when Fred is in a scene with Aunt Esther

Mandie,
I know you've been on Sitcoms Online for awhile, but welcome to the Sanford and Son board. :)
Yeah it has been boring without Fred, I agree. I think he's due back in a couple of episodes.

When I was younger, I hated the episodes that Fred wasn't in and Grady was living with Lamont. I've gotten older now and I grew to like the episodes that had Grady living w/ Lamont. Grady might not be as funny as Fred, but he pretty much stood on his own.

I think this is the negotiation period. Redd wanted more money and some other stuff and I guess he didn't bother showing up until he got his demands.
