I'm thinking about taping Murder She Wrote next. I've got my vcr set up to record in the morning already.

I'm already taping the following:

Gilmore Girls Beginings
American Dreams
Boomtown
Days of Our Lives
Mama's Family
Roseanne
90210
Designing Women
Golden Girls (hoping to be finished soon - missing a few shows here and there)
7th Heaven
Everwood
Gilmore Girls (regular; this season)
Dawson's Creek
Friends
ER
What I Like About You
Family Affair (When it comes on)

It's a lot but it keeps my mind off all my stress sometimes and it's become a hobby.

Gosh I literally go through the TV Guide online thing just trying to decide what to tape. I currently tape:

Designing Women
Golden Girls
The Nanny
Step By Step
Wonder Years
Miami Vice
Sliders
Knight Rider
Roswell
Crossing Jordan
Third Watch
Hidden Hills
Frasier
Friends
Will and Grace
ER
Scrubs
Good Morning Miami
Law and Order (any of them that are on)
Welcome Back Kotter
The Love Boat
Charlie's Angels
All In The Family (although not as much as I'd like because it conflicts with everything else i tape)

The SciFi channel is going to be running some sort of marathon thing starting on the 17th featuing shows like Buck Rogers and the 25th Century, Sliders, etc. I have no idea how I'm going to fit all THAT into this ridiculous schedule of taping things I have. If there is NOTHING on that I regularly tape I will tape a random show of something else here or there, like Rockford Files or something like that.

I agree with the poster who said it's somewhat of a hobby and I completely love doing it. I just don't know where to store all of these tapes I have and I need to get another TV/VCR cable hookup somewhere in my house to help me out!!!

I know that there are 2 shows on daily that I want to tape and can't because of the time cross ~ CHiPs and Amen! And that's just 2 shows because there are more I want to tape and can't because of the conflict of times. Anyone else have that problem?

I also would love to tape Days of Our Lives every day but it's on after I leaev for work and I can't change the channels on my VCR as it runs through digital cable and can only tape one channel.

Problems problems :)

It is a nice hobby, and really, how long do we really know these shows will last on cable, etc? Right? And, on top of all that, I usually try to record the shows without commercials (not the network shows, just tvland, etc.) I work from home, so thankfully, I can catch a lot of these shows and am home to switch the channels, lol.

I just started taping the new Dragnet.

7th Heaven
8 Simple Rules
American Dreams
Archie Bunker's Place
Beverly Hills, 90210
Charlie's Angels
Dragnet (2003)
Donna Reed Show
Dynasty
ER
Father Knows Best
Gilmore Girls
Gilmore Girls Beginnings
Head of the Class
Hogan's Heroes
Knots Landing
Life with Bonnie
Less Than Perfect
Mama's Family (I have almost all on tape; just need to retape without commercials)
Married with Children
Mary Tyler Moore Show
The Osbournes
Perfect Strangers
Reba
Sanford & Son
Smallville
Welcome Back Kotter

Will start taping pretty soon, or sometime this year:
All in the Family
Bob Newhart Show (maybe)
Dick Van Dyke Show (maybe)
ER (the rotation will be starting over again soon on TNT)
Get Smart
The Love Boat
Mister Ed (when it comes back in Sept on TV Land)
The Munsters (when it starts over this week)
Three's Company
Wings

You are right about not knowing how long the shows will last as they air, especially the older stuff (Love Boat, Charlies' Angels, etc). I wish I could get my channels switched around but I work evenings and it's just so hard for me to do that. :\

I have a question ~ what channel/when is Knots Landing/Head of the Class on? I'm wondering if it's showing on a channel I do not get because I haven't seemed to come across either of them (other than the random Head of the Class on TV Land).

Knots Landing airs daily on SOAPnet (11:00am pacific, 2:00pm eastern). Head of the Class will be airing for 2 weeks beginning tonight, at 4:00am.

Yeah, you never know how long the older stuff will last.

Well I wouldn't be able to tape Knots Landing even if I had that channel (dont have that, just digital cable no satellite) because I leave for work at that time and have my VCR's set up for Knight Rider/Roswell. I will be so happy to have an entire series on tape so that i can start onto a new one.

Which channel for Head of the Class?

Agh!

What channel are you taping My Sister Sam from?

And who is the girl the photo in your signiature?

"My Sister Sam" airs on a local Staten Island community station, SI76. It's not part of a regular line-up as they mostly only air programs relating to Staten Island or educational stuff...but every 5 of 6 weeks they air an episode of "My Sister Sam," followed by an episode of the "Tony Orlando & Dawn" show. They also air "Getting By" with Cindy Williams and Thelma Hopkins but that's a "lucky catch" sort of thing too. There's no telling when they'll air it and you have to really scour their listings for it.

The girl in the photo is Kim Richards from "Hello Larry".

Hi Midnightrose,

I am wondering if you or anyone else here has season 7 of 7th Heaven on tape ?. What episodes that have aired so far, the first 17 episodes and when the others air, if they could be sent too.

I can trade or buy the tapes, I could trade a season from the first 6 seasons of 7th Heaven or from the first 2 seasons of Gilmore Girls, their in great condition and I almost dont mind just buying them. But if anyone can make me a copy of the episodes from season 7 of 7th Heaven, please email me at: js4u2@hotmail.com as soon as possible.
