View Full Version : Does FX show Ally the 30 minute version? DarleneIllyria 02-02-2003, 05:50 PM Does anybody remember the plain Ally show that was 30 minutes? Does FX show the Ally show with the Ally McBeal hour long show? j/w Brian Damage 02-03-2003, 05:58 PM I remember Ally. Kelley created the 30 minute show so it would be more attractive to put into syndication. However, to answer your first question, I do not know if FX airs it. IheartMoonlighting 02-08-2003, 07:58 AM FX does not air Ally. It is pretty much the same episode just without the court cases. Oh okay, thanks for answering my question. I just figured since the Ally show is 30 minutes and they didn't make all that many eps, they would show them on FX. Thanks for clearing me up. TJL 02-08-2003, 03:38 PM I never understood the logic behind the thirty minute "Ally" episodes. Let's hack the show in half and only show the good parts. Is that supposed to attract viewers? DarleneIllyria 02-08-2003, 04:01 PM Originally posted by TJL I never understood the logic behind the thirty minute "Ally" episodes. I was still watching the hour Ally episodes when they brought on mini Ally eps. Even then I was thinking, why are they doing that? I could understand saving it for like a dvd bonus or something, but I didn't see the point in the mini Ally being on tv. IheartMoonlighting 02-08-2003, 07:07 PM I know, it was a pretty stupid idea. Ally was a hot show in its first three seasons, so Fox decided to captailze off of it. It didn't work. |
