Are you like me and have WAAAY to much fun with them? I mean I spend like 20 mins on my away messages, and then I check my profile over and over to see if they look alright. And if they arent excactly the way I want them, I'll edit them over and over. Does anyone else do this, or am I just a freak? :lol:

I do too! OMG! I love making new away messages and I have a few wicked funny ones if I do say so myself.

lol, i never spend quite that long on them....but i do write them, edit them, some are pretty good (in my opinion..) sooo yeah...

i do the exact same thing. i put the away message up then check the profile to see if it looks good, if not i re-fix it. :lol:

Same here, I always do that when I fix my profile do. I can't just edit it where I type it, I have to see it how other people do. :lol:

LOL i did that alot too.. and i was obsessed with checking my subprofile. I wonder if they work on macintosh's...

I don't work on them that much anymore. I do though sometimes, especially when a certain person keeps criticizing them (coughLynncough)

For some reason all my away messages become old after like the second time using them. BRB is forever, but my original ones aren't (to me at least). *le sigh*

I've had the same profile and away message since the day I downloaded AIM and I'm happy with it.

I just type whatever comes into my head.... or wherever I am...I dunno. I just think of a new one everytime, and I don't save them. I just write them from scratch

Yah, I have a bunch and I colorize them and everything. I save them, but then I go and change my sn so theyre erased.

I like my away messages short. According to Karli, I'm MIss. Talkative. ;)

I use to have sarcastic ones and stuff... but now i just stick to the "away" or "brb".. short and sweet... the only type of away messages that REALLY get on my nerves are the kind that are like "i'm depressed and not in the mood to talk to you, i'm gonna go cry and wait for someone who cares..w hich will be never" type away message... tha'ts when you know it's time to get off line.
