View Full Version : Where did Lilith and Frasier renew their vows?
TALLguyinKY 02-01-2003, 02:43 AM The other night I was up really late after work, and while watchin' "Cheers", I just started thinkin' of all the different places we'd seen Lilith in the series (and I think it's cool when she has scenes with Rebecca and Carla in Cheer's women's room, lol). Yes, this is what my mind does when I've been up too late, lol.
Now where exactly did she and Frasier renew their wedding vows? I remember the episode, and part of the scenery, but can't remember where it was.
Hmmmmm...and was Lilith ever seen in the pool room? We know she went there, but did we ever actually see her there?
And I take it the only time we ever saw her in Sam's office was with Rebecca, and later Frasier when her affair came out (which I still don't like the writers for doin'... ).
Stephie_Gee 02-01-2003, 03:33 AM I'm pretty sure they were going to renew their vows in their "tastefully decorated townhouse". *looks to Bethy or Dulc for verification* I don't think they ever actually renewed them though, did they? *sigh* I'm so very confused tonight...
Dr. Lilith Sternin 02-01-2003, 03:49 AM Yes, they did, in fact, renew their vows in their townhouse. So, not only do we see Lilith in their living/dining room, we've seen her in their bathroom, bedroom, and Frederick's bedroom. :)
We saw Lilith in the pool room when it had been turned into a Rebecca's tea room. I'm not recalling seeing her in the actual pool room when it was indeed a pool room.
We've also seen her in the hospital, at Frederick's school, at the restaurant, at the cabin, at the Nanny Gee concert, at Carla's house, in the common (when Frasier craftily removed the park bench and placed it in a more convenient place)... hmm, I'm sure I'm not thinking of them all. It's late. As I think of them, I'll add them.
Stephie_Gee 02-01-2003, 03:55 AM Also... right outside of Cheers, a talk show ("Tea Time with Brenda"), yet another talk show ("Psychology Today"), city hall, a hotel, Woody and Kelly's wedding (can't think of where that took place at the moment), and um...other places that I can't remember at this hour.
TALLguyinKY 02-01-2003, 03:58 AM And there was that fancy place where she and Frasier took Lud and Carla to dinner, and the room in that building where Frasier was gonna jump...
Dr. Lilith Sternin 02-01-2003, 04:04 AM That would be the Gaines' estate. LOL
And if we're counting Frasier... Frasier's apartment in Seattle, a few hotels, Bora Bora, the station, her townhouse, the synagogue for Freddie's Bar Mitzvah, Lilith's bed room, the Crane's cabin, in Frasier's mind... in Frasier's car, in Frasier's bed room...

So...we've seen her in their bathroom...
We saw Lilith in the pool room when it had been turned into a Rebecca's tea room.
We've also seen her...at the Nanny Gee concert...
So when did we see her in these places? I mean, for what reasons?
*is unsure he's ever seen these episodes*
Dr. Lilith Sternin 02-01-2003, 12:15 PM LOL, this would be Stephie and I assuming everyone owns every Lilith episode on tape, as we do, let alone having seen them. LOL.
Which ones are you confused on?
By the way, I love your Janice quote. As a fellow Bostonian, I often say "fer sure." Yet one of the many things Stephie makes fun of my accent for. "Yaself," "Hampsta," etc.
Question for anyone else in the Boston area... do you call popsicles "pops?" Because I do and nearly everyone I know does, yet Stephie, Miss Houston, thinks it's the funniest thing she's ever heard.
And whatever... it's definitely not "pop" for soda... soda is definitely soda or tonic!!! I think it's sad so many New Englanders have started calling it "soda" instead of "tonic." "Tonic" is OUR thing and we should be proud of it!! Just like the use of "wicked" as an adverb, or an adjective even. I use it in front of anything. LMAO.

The ones I quoted from you in my last post above. :) Except for their bathroom, cause I realized that was when they renewed their vows (hello, lol... ).

Hey, thanks! :) That's Janice's most oft-used expression, and since she's, like, from California, she, like, rully says "fer sure" a lot, oh wow! ;) :p

Welp, here in the south, we calls 'em "Cokes". ;) :D

Finally! Someone else who calls them "Cokes"! Go South! Woot!
And for your questions about the episodes, the one where Lilith was in the tea room (pool room) was "Cheers Has Chili" and the one where she was at the Nanny Gee concert was, of course, "One Hugs, The Other Doesn't".
Dulcineah1 02-02-2003, 12:25 AM Lilith was technically in Sam's office in the episode "For Real Men Only" (the one with Freddie's bris), when she comes to the bar looking for Frasier and Frederick. They were talking in there, and while it wasn't shown, they did agree that the ceremony should take place.
Tonic?? *shakes head* They're sodas or pops in Arizona, and in Chicago.

Yeah, and a huge LILITH fan to boot! She's the best! :D

Okay, thanks---I don't think I've gotten to see these, but I know that Nanny Gee is on tonight and tomorrow night! :D

True, thanks for pointin' 'at out. :)
TALLguyinKY 02-03-2003, 05:04 AM Oh yeah, and she was in there when she helped Rebecca change her image into a "serious businesswoman"---course, actually, it's been Rebecca's office in these appearances...so, the question still stands, has she ever been in there when it was Sam's office?
(lol)
