I miss Louie Anderson he was so much better than Richard. Louie seemed much more comfortable. With Richard it looks like he doesn't know what to do and say and hes not funny at all. Hopefully they get Louie back.

View Full Version : I don't like this new Family Feud with Richard Karn Anna4 02-01-2003, 12:48 AM I miss Louie Anderson he was so much better than Richard. Louie seemed much more comfortable. Louie is on then in reruns. *GoodMorningCalgary* 02-01-2003, 11:59 AM Why did Louie leave Family Feud anyways? TV Favorites 02-01-2003, 01:56 PM Louie had some personal scandals and also wasn't pulling in great ratings, so he was let go. From what I hear, Karn isn't helping the ratings much, but also isn't hurting them, so they renewed for another year. I'm afraid that next season may be the last year for the Feud if the ratings don't pick up. Brian Damage 02-03-2003, 05:08 PM If you ask me, they should go back and use the original set from the 70's/80's. I never liked this modern set that they use now. TV Favorites 02-03-2003, 09:08 PM I think they should go back to the Feud '94 set. It seems to be the best compromise between the original of the 70's and the updated dark atmosphere of the 2000's. dawsongirl 02-03-2003, 09:42 PM Originally posted by TV Favorites I think they should go back to the Feud '94 set. You know how the set changed to red when it was fast money? I'm not sure if I like that or not but it was kind of cool. But I do miss Louie, but I like Richard K as much.. But I know it continues to be a success in syndication.. Usually I catch these gameshows throughout the middle of winter and the spring when I'm not so busy.. Mikado 01-02-2008, 01:58 PM I couldnt stand Louie Anderson, but, i'm not big fan of Carns either......Frankly the ONLY good host this show ever had was Richard Dawson who got the show as a spinoff of Match Game in the first place howierules86 01-02-2008, 04:41 PM Link Removed ~~Seth What does that link have to do with this topic? Coffeecup 01-19-2008, 08:38 PM I see the show in my area with John O'hurley. friendsfan77 01-20-2008, 01:42 AM I see the show in my area with John O'hurley. I think John is better than both Karn and Anderson. Life with Louie was pure genious, but Louie on the Feud I simply could not stand. I thought Richard Karn was better but not that much. His "I'M D0UBL3ING/TRIPLING DE POINTZ!!!111!!!!!" could get grating. howierules86 01-20-2008, 11:57 AM I was going through my tapes today, and I came across part of a Karn Feud ep. from Feb. 2005 that had less than half of the 100 people surveyed represented for the Round 3 (Double round) question. The question was: "We asked 100 married men - name a female celebrity whose figure you wish your wife had." The responses were as fellows: 1. Jennifer Lopez - 15 2. Halle Berry - 12 3. Pamela Anderson - 9 4. Britney Spears - 7 5. Vanessa Williams - 4 By my calculations, that only totals up to 47 points (94 when doubled). This could have very easily passed as another single-point round question IMO. My question is, has this happened before on any other version of "Family Feud" in which less than half the survey was used before? If so, it sounds fishy to me. BensonFan 01-30-2008, 10:15 PM I miss Richard Dawson. I wish he'd come back, even if just for a limited time frame (a month, whatever)....that would be fun. Although I know he's up in age, maybe it's not a possibility. |
