I'm real big on the 70s music. I'm quite fond of The Carpenters and Heart.
Although I have a question about one song though. There was this one song I heard on the DirectTV 70s music channel a while back and I can't remember who sang it or what it was even called, but all I do remember is something about shooting somebody and getting out town or something like that. :lol: It was a funny song too bad I can't remember it. Any thoughts?

"I Fought The Law" was covered by The Clash. The original version was done by Bobby Fuller.

Besides several Billy Joel songs and the theme from "Rocky" I have never been much of a fan of 70s music. I mostly like 60s and 80s and some 90s, too.

70s had a lot of nice records though a lot of music purists like to poke fun at the stuff that was in the top 40 back then. Song about shooting someone and having to get out of town? I don't know. Only thing I can think of is The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia and the Night Chicago Died by Paper Lace.
