Well..the professor wasn't full of crap, BUT--he WAS full of misinformation.



1.MEET THE METEOR: Contgradictorily claims (1) cosmic rays aren't radiaition and (2) meteorites glow from "picking up all kinds of strange rays" when in reailty they are glowing from intense friction heat, and thinks wrongly that radiation's eais;ly destructable by lightning

2.In ANY episode...always forgets to build a sutiable boat to leave the island.

3.FRIENDLY PHYSICAN: If he was so smart he could have just changed the mad doc's sinister little machine into a time travel device to wipe out their being ever stranded on the island (but then there would BE no show now how)

4.VOODOO:Wrongly thinks he knows the indentity of the tribe who did the artificats found by Gilligan in the cave when in fact thius particular tribe would not have been anywhere in an uncharted island and that witch docs don't exist. (Voodoo in real life, of course, would never work on a REAL person.;...except maybe if done by a witch doctor..:) Also Gilligan himself screws up by not taking a personal object from the witch doc in the tag, a stnadard issue with anything voodoo, then again what we he gonne take..anyway, the point of ANY hero, even if it is Gilligan is be more ADVANTAGED than the villain, therefore possibly explaining his not taking a object from the witch doctor. However, taking their own possesions back, plus the voddoo doolls, and having before taked the witch doc's own artifactgs, may have empowered Gilligan to have stabbed the witch doctor.

5.SPLASHDOWN: The professor wrongly thinks the SOS logs are gonna be spotted by astronauts Sol Tobias and company. Oh, they're spotted all right but in real life this wouldn't happen, regardless of WHAT the damn logs spelt!
