I <3 Tina Louise, I think she is the best actress ever...so of course i think she should have returned....but i'd like to know what you think. Tina is a wonderful actress, a beautiful woman, and has a lovely voice, so i think that the producers should have excepted Tina's plea for more money and have had her in the movie. The movie was good, but it could have been WAY better if Tina had returned.

I personally don't think that the money is why Tina Louise didn't play Ginger in the movie. She hated her role as Ginger and din't want anything to do with it. She wasn't in any of the movies, she wasn't in that ALF episode where the others guest-starred (except for Jim Backus and Natalie Schafer), she wasn't on the E! True Hollywood story (I haven't seen it yet butI heard that neither she nor Bob Denver weren't interviewed. The only time she was "Ginger" after the show was when the cast was being honored and getting an award.

She was also on an episode of "Roseanne", wasn't she? Roseanne had a dream about Gilligan's Island, and Tina Louise showed up during the end credits, playin gthe role of Roseanne. It was pretty cool, and I think it counts as her playing Ginger again, in a round-about sort of way... doesn't it?
