I was just wondering something....

To me, sitcoms are in a really dark period in time at the moment. There are a couple of good ones but none of them have the quality that Cheers and other programs(all in the family, golden girls) had.
Do you think that the sitcom will make a drastic comeback someday and return to the quality they had in the 70's and 80's?

I hope so but I dont think Its ganna happen anytime soon
:(

And Im also tired of all these sitcoms without theme songs!!!

Theme songs are vital!!!!!

Look at all the classic sitcoms and youll find that they have a classic theme song too!

I agree, most sitcoms nowadays just aren't funny, in my opinion. And I am so sick of all these @#%!!!! reality shows!!! :barf: Scrubs, The Simpsons, and Everybody Loves Raymond are the only current sitcoms that I watch regularly anymore.

It's hard to say because a new generation of writers and producers are taking over. I think that there are a few really good shows still out there. You just have to look hard.

As long as there is Nick at Nite and Cheers. I say the hell with whatever crap they are playing. And this "Reality" tv has got to stop. I mean it's so fake. In reality, how many times have 7 strangers gotten together and decided to move in to an apartment that none of them can afford. And how do 16 people just happen to end up on an island competing for a million dollars. BULL****!
