LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - He'll have to work fast to catch up with his TV clan, but Barry Williams, who played eldest son Greg on the 1970's comedy "The Brady Bunch," has started a family of his own.
Wife Eila Mary Matt gave birth to the couple's first child, a boy, on Friday (Jan. 24). Baby Brandon Eric Williams weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces and was 20 inches long, according to the AP.
Williams has made a career out of being Greg Brady. In addition to his stint on the show, he authored the book "Growing Up Brady ... I Was a Teenage Greg," which spent over three months on the New York Times best seller list and had a TV movie based on it in 2000. Most recently, he has hit the celebrity reality show circuit, appearing on "Celebrity Fear Factor" and "Celebrity Boot Camp," as well as losing to "Partridge Family" member Danny Bonaduce on FOX's "Celebrity Boxing."
He and Matt have been married for three years.
Pitooey 01-30-2003, 09:27 AM I'm happy for Barry and his wife. I've always liked him. Thanks TJ....... Plus Thanks for my name change... :)
vze3t9q9 01-31-2003, 08:50 PM I glad he has a little one. How old is barry now? I'd say 48-49. He seems so nice and has fun on reality shows. I have seem him on fear factor. What is the status of children with the other bunch actors.
Pitooey 01-31-2003, 10:48 PM I think Barry is 44 years old.
jehobden 02-03-2003, 08:54 PM Barry Williams was born Sept. 30, 1954 (exactly two weeks after my oldest sister), so he is 48 years old today. I guess he actually had his name changed in court from Barry William Blenkhorn to Barry Williams, since he seems to have passed his stage surname to his son.
Pitooey 02-04-2003, 10:30 AM Thanks Jehobden.......... I can't believe that Barry is 48 years old already...
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 02-04-2003, 04:10 PM Yayyy!!!! Congrats Greg! I mean Barry!;)

I know that Mike Lookinland has two boys, Maureen McCormick has a daughter and Susan Olson has a son. I don't believe Chris Knight or Eve Plumb have any kids but I could be wrong. I don't think Ann B. Davis has ever been married and Florence Henderson has children, I don't know how many though.

Florence had four children, two boys and two girls, with her first husband, Ira Bernstein. Her daughter, Barbara, appeared on BB three times, once credited as Barbara Henderson, probably to promote the family relation, and twice, including in the last ep, by her real name, Barbara Bernstein.

Oh really. I never knew that. Was she an extra or did she have a speaking part? Which episodes was she in?
jehobden 02-11-2003, 11:39 PM Barbara appeared as Barbara Henderson in The Slumber Caper, along with Robert Reed's daughter Carolyn (I think she goes by Karen now.) and Sherwood Schwartz' daughter Hope, who appeared as Hope Sherwood. Barbara had maybe two lines as Marcia's friend Ruthie. Barbara appeared as Barbara Bernstein in Everybody Can't Be George Washington. I think she played one of Peter's classmates, and she probably had a couple lines there too. She appeared in the last episode, The Hair-Brained Scheme, as a friend of Greg's, along with Hope Sherwood again. She had a pretty funny line in that one. Greg had whispered to the two girls while Carol went back to see about having Greg's hair dyed, and when he walked away, she said something along the lines of "That poor woman! Who would guess that under that wig she'd completely bald?".
ficlopri 02-12-2003, 03:20 AM TJ, Williams authored the mistake filled Growing Up Brady book with Chris Kreski. Article is giving Williams sole credit for authoring that mess. I realize TJ you didn't write the article.
