Is anyone else out there as addicted to this show as my husband and i are?! We love it!

How about a thread on Smallville! I'd love to discuss it with others!

I like Smallville also. I really enjoyed the Season 2 season finale. That was really good. They only think I did not like is now I have to wait until the Fall before the third season comes on. One of my favorite shows in the second season was Rosetta, where Clark starts to discover his origin. That was a really good episode.

Yeah, Smallville is one of my favorite shows on the tube right now. The season finale was quite amazing. I'm glad the storylines have moved away from the "mutant teen of the week," and are focusing on Clark and his destiny.

I think later this year, they will start showing weekend reruns of Smallville from seasons 1-3, like they've done with other WB dramas.

Can't wait.

i love it.
but the first season was better to me. not because of the weekly power kids, but because of the relationships of whitney-lana as well as the obvious triangle.
whitney leaving took a little away from the show.
and i totally loved the episode where whitney's dad died. great stuff.

I cant wait until they rerun the season one eps. I recorded them for someone in a trade, but didnt keep for copies for myself. ERR

I loved the finale - I cant wait to find out whose voice was really coming from the ship, because there's no way that was really Jor-El.

But more than anything, i want Bizarro to show up <GGG>
(You just know Lex is already assembling the Legion of Doom.)

Interesting...
I never thought about that...

I can't wait to find out who set up poor Lex. Could it be his sweet innocent bride?

That is a good question, but could it also have been his father? I mean his father and him never saw eye to eye and were always finding ways to stop each other at what ever business endeavor either one of them were doing.

I'm pretty sure that Helen (Lex's "wife") and Lionel (his father) set him up on that plane. I think Lex will find his way by the compass that Jonathan Kent gave him in the finale.

Wow! Good call! I forgot about the compass.
I'm sure Lex will be back with a bone to pick with someone.

I don't think Lionel is that evil. Sure, he's tried to screw his son over a bunch of times, but to murder his own son?
That's so not like him...

Lionel trying to murder him is awfully extreme. Lex Luthor isnt due to die in an airplance accident for several years yet - and thats if you're following the comics, which are subject to change everytime they start a new series <G>

They wouldn't kill off Lex because he is a very important character in this show and people really like him as well. One thing that I don't like is that the Season Premiere will be skipping ahead 3 months later than where they left off or at least that's what I heard.

Does anyone know what season 3 will be about?

I love Smallville! It's my fav. show on television right now. Yes, in the fall the WB will be airing Smallville beginnings on Sundays. They did the same thing with 7th Heaven years ago.
I don't think Lionel had anything to do with trying to kill Lex, I do think he would totally do it, if there was something in it for him though

Lionel is like that. He would do anything to try to get under Lex's skin, but I do not think he would try to kill his own son. Maybe Lex's new wife had something to do with it, but I guess we will not know until the third season starts. By the way when does the third season start? Does anybody know? I enjoyed the season finale for season 2, but it left me hanging and I can't wait to find out what happens in the third season.

Yeah, I was a little in shock too at that finale. What with Clark going pika-dark and leaving Lana behind, Mrs. Kent's lost baby, :crying: Chloe writing that expose for Lionel, and Lex in the unfriendly skies, it should be one heck of a season premiere!

BTW, this just in from tvshowsondvd.com: Season One is coming out on DVD on September 23rd! :woohoo:

They've also released the first two episodes as a "pilot movie", but it's a Canada-only release.

They changed the Season Premiere. It's now that the season premiere of Smallville will be on October 1st instead of September 24th and it's on Wednesday!!
