Thats odd too, Because they were practically the same character. But i think they liked Melvin better because he had a funny rhyming name. But i liked Eugiene better since he was the original.

It said at the top of SCott Bernstein ( Melvin)'s bio that they at HD wanted to get rid of Denis Mandel ( Eugene) bc he was causing problems on the set :eek:
