Why would we buy CDs if we can get them free? I know this won't stop many people.

Perhaps the reason record sales dropped 8.8% because there was no new music worth buying.

See now, I DL songs all the time, BUT I also buy CD's. I DL the songs my groups or singers that I know I only like that just one song. Of course when Britney or J.Lo comes out I buy it.

Yeah, ditto. I download and I buy some cds. I didn't buy that many new cds last year. I bought Home, Up, Cry, and the Elvis 1 cd, and I got Shut Up for Xmas. Yeah, my cd buying has went down. At least I still buy cds, though. I could've just downloaded the songs off each cd.

I have to admit that this downloading stuff has made cd prices drop. That is such a good thing. Yeah, downloading is free. Yet, you can't beat a 10 buck cd.

I'm guilty. I burn CD's like there is no tomorrow. But I mean, I'm not made of money here! I'm only a 14 year old teenager in 8th grade. Jeeze.

That's what I keep saying. If most of the new music didn't suck, maybe people'd buy more CD's.
