I remember in about 2nd grade if the kids forgot to put their names on their papers the teacher would make us write our names 25 times or something but that's about it.

No...... we just get written up to the 8th grade vice principal. Then if you're still bad, you get sent to the principals office. And I can guarantee you- no one has ever come out of there laughing.

No. We did in elementary school though. We had to sit at the middle table at lunch and write until recess was over.

I dont think so.. I know some teachers did that, but not any of mine. I think they would just give a detention or whatever.. I dunno... I was always too scared to be yelled @ lol so thats probably why I never got in trouble or had a detention. The worst I did was talk too much.

we wrote sentences in elementry. my 8th grade history teacher would make us write essays if we were bad. if one person was being crazy, we all got an essay. but, we never did, cuz the teacher was crazy. lol.

Depends, what grade are we talking about here? In elementary school we either had to write sentences, lunch detention, or after school detention. Depended on what you did and what teacher you had.
In high school, we just got detention.
In 9th grade I got quite a lot of after school detentions for being late. You can tell I hated school.
