I remember in second grade I spelled my middle name with an 'e'. I was all in my Anne of Green Gables phase and the e just adds so much to it. It's similar to Borden but not spelled or even said that way, people just can't ever say my last name correctly. My mom couldn't get that saying "Lizzie Borden took an ax, gave her father 40 whacks, and when she saw what she had done, she gave her mother 41." She told my dad that there was no way they could name me that because kids would probably make fun of my name.
