Take Care Aaron bandito 01-27-2003, 10:49 PM i dont know but esther was hilarious in that ep! dlemond 01-28-2003, 08:20 PM Sonny Jim Gaines http://us.imdb.com/Name?Gaines,+Sonny+Jim RCA 01-29-2003, 02:04 AM Did anyone notice the blooper at the end of this episode? Just after "big money" leaves, the camera shows Fred and Lamont talking and in the window behind them you can see someone walking behind the set. Artfiore1 01-31-2003, 04:26 AM RCA, Yes, but I had assumed that that was supposed to be either Aunt Esther or "Big Money," both of whom had just left the house seconds earlier. By the way, folks, wasn't the character's name "Grip."not "Grift"? Later, Art dlemond 01-31-2003, 11:22 AM Yes, it was "Grip." There is actually a band that has taken their name from this character. http://www.bigmoneygrip.com/ from their website: "We're a 6 piece band from Raleigh, NC, and our style is a raw mix of funk, jazz, blues, and pop." Just after "big money" leaves, the camera shows Fred and Lamont talking and in the window behind them you can see someone walking behind the set. There was no blooper in that episode. Fred and Lamont laughing with one another was part of the act and the person who was seen in the window was Sonny Gaines leaving the set. So where is the blooper? RCA 01-31-2003, 07:46 PM I thought maybe that window in the back was a fake window, so seeing someone walk past it might have been a blooper. Scoobiedoo30 01-31-2003, 07:51 PM Is Big Money Grip still around or is he dead. Aaron Artfiore1 02-07-2003, 07:37 PM SOLOMON, Are you sure that was Sonny Gaines ("Big Money" Grip) walking by the window at the end? Upon further review, it doesn't look to me as though it's either "Big Money" or Aunt Esther. The individual appears to be as bald as an 8 ball. "Big Money" had a full head of hair, and Aunt Esther -- even without her wig -- wasn't bald. I still wouldn't classify it as a "blooper," though. It's not so unusual for somebody to walk by a window. As a matter of fact, I'd be willing to bet that, at this very moment, somewhere in America, *someone* is walking by a window. ======================================= RCA, Didn't Lamont, at least once, climb through that "fake window" when he couldn't get in through the front door? Later, Art Yes it's Sonny Gaines who walks past the Window-i looked at it 7 times. It's him. Later, Art Yeah, you know I think your right. I wish I had that episode taped so I coud see it again. Artfiore1 02-08-2003, 04:13 AM RCA, i'm not 100% sure, but I think it may have been one of the Redd Foxx-less episodes in which Grady locked Lamont out of the house. ========================================== SOLOMON, I'll take your word for it. You would know better thsn I. I don't know why, but it looked to me like the guy walking by the window was bald. Sorry about that. Later, Art Cloud9 Lorraine 03-10-2007, 04:56 PM Yes, and I found it to be a distraction. Although it is perfectly plausible to see someone pass by the window as it was on the ground floor and Esther and Grip had just left the house, I always felt it was untentional. Either it wasn't picked up by the continuity editor, or they just decided to keep the scene as is. Whenever they showed someone leaving the house from an outside shot, the person always went in the other direction, to the left, front of the set. That is why I feel it lacked continuity and therefore was distracting. Did anyone notice the blooper at the end of this episode?
