HAPPY ANNIVERSARY: To a show that was discussed on ET in TV Land last night. What is it? Oh yeah. Laverne and Shirley premiered on this date in 1976. Lasted until 1983 but on shows like Joanie Loves Chachi, Laverne & Shirley, Charles in Charge, and Mork and Mindy, there were all HAPPY DAYS! They're still here again though! :lol:
HAPPY TRAILS: To long-time sports editor Fred Russell. A sports editor emeritus of the defunct Nashville Banner who once helped Bear Bryant get an assistant's job has passed away at the age of 96.
