If anyone here has read the cartoon Foxtrot, have you ever noticed how much the Fox family there resembles the Owens family from Mr. Belvedere? I don't mean the parents as much as the kids. Peter, the older boy, seems somewhat less than bright at times and girl-crazy, the same as Kevin, Paige, the girl, seems to be interested in boys and fashion like Heather, and Jason, the younger boy, is extremely intelligent and lives to harass his sister, same as Wesley. I remember one plot from Foxtrot dealt w/ Peter's awkwardness in dating a blind girl, and thinking back, he seemed to handle the situation in the same way as Kevin would. The Fox family doesn't have a British butler, but it does have a thinking iguana, which often seems wiser than the rest of the family.
