Well West Side Story is my favorite movie musical. I also love Singin' In The Rain and My Fair Lady.

As for stage musical...well I have only seen three: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cats, and Les Miserables. I really don't think I could pick my favorite of the three, I liked them all. Musically, though, I think Joseph and Les Mis have better songs.

I love that movie, especially the "Like a Virgin" sequence. I have the song downloaded from Kazaa Lite. Unfortunately, it's not available on the soundtrack.

I remember one of my sisters used to LOVE that movie. She would play the sheet music on the piano all the time. I was little and I liked to watch it but I didn't understand it. Now I want to see it.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical score is beautiful. The Phantom movie has been done a few times, but I've seen the play six times.
When The Phantom of The Opera comes to town, I purchase tickets for 2 for two nights. I see it with my husband one night and a girlfriend another night. Boston has The Wang Center, a wonderful restored theater where the play usually has a week's run.
It's been playing on Broadway for years...I believe at The Majestic Theater. I see the ad on E!. I'd love to see the play on Broadway.

I love Andrew Lloyd Webber, but I've never seen Phantom. I will one of these days, though, you just watch! ;) However I ADORE Stephen Sondheim. I think he's a genius. Into the Woods is one of my favorite shows, and so is Les Mis...I've been obsessed with Les Mis since I was like 6 years old and I've seen it 3 times.
