Well Freddie might be gone, but his magic to hook people hasn't died, that is for sure.
I had a friend over to my house last night. She is the tech teacher at our school and had come over to look at my computer. The rest of the family was out so we had the place to ourselves.
I was showing her all my Freddie stuff and played his comedy CD for her. She was in stitches. She has a very infectious laugh and she was roaring over some of his punchlines, more than I have seen in a long time. We also watched the pilot episode and the one from second season, with Miklos the gypsy(the first one). She loved it and ALL of Freddie's finer attributes :grineyes: weren't lost on her (yes she paid particular attention to ALL mother nature blessed him with! :lol: ) So we had a drool fest and I have helped Freddie gain another new fan. She was 8 when he passed and she never heard the story of what had happened. I was able to enlighten her on that part too.
Now to introduce her to the fan fiction...... hummmm.........
The only thing is that I teach her son, and I do teach a course called family life to the fifth grade (that is our school's version of the sex ed talks) and... well.... you know how my story, Salvation, has some, ahem, intense parts........ Hummm........ tee hee. Some how, I don't think she would mind that, tho! :D

Great post Luckymama. Just think how many Freddie fans would be gained if CATM aired on a regular basis. Freddie's talent has a way of attracting fans..and once they are hooked...then the rest of his fine attributes are enjoyed as well. I think if TV Land aired the show...you would find a cult following happening. Freddie Prinze would be as popular as ever. He has charisma and that Latin charm to make you a forever fan. Thanks Lucky for introducing our sweet Prinze to just one more person. Freddie is smiling away.

Lucky - I'm so happy you introduced Freddie to another new fan. How could they love Jr. with knowing Sr? He's the reason Jr. is a HUNK today.........

That pic is too hot! :heart: :heart: That's neat you got Freddie a new fan! :) The show needs to be on so more people can discover him. I think one problem out there is alot of the younger people may think he's too old for them & alot of the older people may think they're too old to be a devoted fan of a star & collect on them. But you're never too old to be a fan! :)

That is a very cool story Ms Marie. I had a similar thing happen to me a little while back. One of my friends posted my site on the Selena board and one response I got said that because of my wallpapers of Freddie, she was interested in learning more about him. I thought that was so cool.! :lol: Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything else from this person, but still, its the thought! ;)
