Rosalind Borden, the "Weensie" half of Teensie and Weensie, has passed away from liver failure. Her twin sister, Marilyn Borden, survives her. Those two were always inseparable, right up until the end. My sympathies go out to Marilyn.

:( Must be awful to lose a twin. Like losing half of yourself.

I saw them a few years back at the Lucy&Desi days in Jamestown,NY.
I remember when They were interviewed on their local tv show ("AM Buffalo"). PLus the authors of the book about Fred & Ethel and the son of Jess Opphemimer.
I dont know anybody who lives in the area butfor those who are interested may want to contact WKBW in Buffalo. Since it hasnt been that long ago ( memorial day weekend 2000 ), they may still have a copy of it.

Saw their website, God, they looked as good at 70 as they did in their twenties on the show!

They were a staple at the Lucy conventions in Burbank, performing Ricochet Romance (among others) at the banquet every year. No matter what big celebrities were brought out to those conventions, the Borden Twins were probably the most popular personalities there, always getting a rousing round of applause. Everyone loved them. They were so important to the conventions that it seems almost pointless to continue the conventions without them. The thought of of them not being there depresses me.

I know this will sound cliche, but they had that look about them that just told you they were the nicest people, you could just see it in their faces!

They really were the sweetest ladies. They autographed a picture for me at the last convention and talked with me about making "Tennessee Bound".
