Would you rather see a reunion TV movie(with the cast returning to their roles and continue where Cheers left off.) or would you rather see a retrospective TV special?(Where the cast talk about the show and air their favorite clips)

Which would you rather see or would you prefer that they just leave it alone?

Both sound good, but i'd rather see a reunion movie. The cast getting together again is good, but I'd like to see a storyline.

I have the inside televisions greatest and have seen all the specials on cheers, so i think I would like to see a movie. IN FACT, i read somewhere that they are making a reunion movie and that it would be out sometime fall 2003 and should run about 2 hours. Although i still think it's in the discussing stages so don't get all worked up over me. the whole cast has signed on except for a certain Pier 1 represenative who shall remain nameless on account of she does not want to relive the role as _ _ _ _ _ _ _. wink wink nod nod!

Yeah, I heard about Ms. Alley's reluctance to reprise her Cheers role too. Personally, I'd love to see a movie.

A movie would be better, imo. A retrospective still would be good too, but that's sort of what the 200th episode was.

Definitely a movie.

I'm going to have to not go with the crowd on this one and say a retrospective TV special. I know they did one for the 200th episode, but that special left me very disappointed. It showed more clips than interviews and John McLaughlin was a much less than ideal host. (Not to mention they didn't interview Bebe, or they did, and cut it out later.)

I was also never too keen on the idea of a reunion movie. I'm afraid if they *did* do a reunion movie, it wouldn't live up to the expectations of everyone and ultimately disappoint. But hey, I'm all for it if it means Frasier and Lilith getting back together. ;)

I'd love to see Frasier and Lilith get back together. Whether that's in the last episode of "Frasier" or a Cheers reunion, I don't care, just as long as they end up together.

I'd love to see some Cheers outtakes. I'll bet they had some awesome ones. They aired some of the "Frasier" ones, why not Cheers ones too?

Funniest thing ever. Bebe getting mad and cursing when she forgot her lines. It's one thing to hear her swear when she's playing Velma Kelly, but hearing Lilith Sternin say the F word is utterly priceless.

"He's setting us all up to--F***!!"

So yeah. Frasier and Lilith together, and outtakes. *nods*

"He's setting us all up to--F***!!"

VERY inappropriate time to curse, Mommy, dear. Really... *pause* Perhaps the random vulgar outbursts are hereditary... tourettes, maybe?

She *yelled* it too. Really loudly.

Then looked scared when the audience laughed.

Of course, it didn't stop her from doing the same thing on the next take.

God, I love Bebe.

Personally, I'd like to see both, but a movie more...

And NORM, where did you hear that they were making a reunion movie?? j/w... When Shelley was on The View, she said that she would like to be a part of the reunion movie, but nothing was in the works...this interview was like in November, I think...:) :D

I came acroos it ounce when i did a search for George Wendt movies coming out in 2003. They said it on this one site. And I think George had mentioned it too but didn't want to say much cause it was still being discussed.

When did this happen? Lilith was always hilarious when angered...

This was during the filming of the "Frasier" episode "Don Juan in Hell, Part II". Bebe had nailed her lines on the previous take, but she just couldn't seem to remember them this time around.

Shelley Long looked terrified, poor girl (she's old enough to be my mother, but yeah), but she seemed to calm down when Kelsey would talk to her. I don't think she'd been in front of a live audience for a long time.

I'd rather see a movie but only if it was done proparly, otherwise it would be a HUGE dissapointment.

And Kirstie, if you read theses boards(fat chance) please agree to reprise your role as Rebecca Howe, it couldn't be dont right without you.

Hold on a second... I want to hear more about Bebe swearing (especially THAT word) in front of a live audience

oh and my vote is def for a movie... it would make sense to have on this fall...since it will be the 20th anniversary year of the premiere

Movie!!!! I have a question for Norm. I ordered "Inside Television's greatest: Cheers" from A&E.com last december 2002, and i recieved a letter from them about 2 weeks ago saying that i was supposed to recieve it this monday (today is Sunday) but it never came. Did you have this much trouble?

if you haven't signed your name in this guestbook for a cheers reunion movie do @: http://expage.com/theweddingcampaign

im not the person organizing it but im trying to help her out.
Although i'd rather see a 2 hour reunion movie centered around Cheers.

Not Fraisers final episode who i centered around fraiser to be the Cheers reunion with everyone in it but it's main focus be Fraiser.
