Does cough medicine have something in it that makes you drunk? Cause I feel a little tipsy :lol:

:lol: I don't think so, but I get a little wheesy when I drink cough medicine, as well. ;)

I get tired, but I never fall asleep even then. :(

Well, I know they ban all over the counter drugs like that in school, but I think it does contain some kind of alcohol. I dunno, I cant drink cough syrup without gagging. Id rather live in pain- its gross.

It has SOMETHING in it that makes you feel tired or something but I don't know what

I came across the Robitussin commerical a while ago, and noticed that on the lower right hand corner it said something like "no alcohol added." :lol: Robitussin tastes awful, BTW.... and they give me stomach achs. :(

I checked the bottle... the kind my mom gave me has 10% alchohol:lol:

lol you guys are funny. I cant drink it cause I cant stnad the taste of medicine! I hate it when drs are like "it taste just like strawberry" gag! LOL. I am such a baby i rather take the pill.. if ic ant take the pill then i rather be in pain!

I refuse to take medicine unless I absolutely need it. Cough medicine makes me puke.

well I think it depends on the kind of cough syrup I know like Nyquil has ALOT of alcohol in it IN FACT its major Ingredient is alcohol but others dont

I don't really mind cough syrup. Some of them taste rather good. I don't drink it every night to get the tipsy feeling. I'd rather have cough syrup any day of the week than cough drops. God, cough drops taste nasty.
