Amandas mother told me, that when your ear rings, it means someone is talking about you. Anyone else hear that? Its like a superstition.

Yep...I've heard of it, but I'm thinking it's just a superstition. Wouldnt you think SOMEONE would test it out?

That aint true. 1 time my ears were ringing for an hour but thats cuz i was listening to headphones on hi volume for awhile.

But i thought when your nose itched, that meant people were talking about you.

I haven't heard of but in science they said like your ears had heard like lots of noise and needs rest so it rings it's called swimmers ear or it means youu have a ear infection.

yeah ive heard that- ive also heard that when its your right ear theyre talking about you in a good way, left ear means theyre talking in a bad way.

No - your ears burn when someone is talking about you. Your ears ring when you've been at a really loud rock concert!!
I once had 'gig-ring' (to give it it's full medical name) in my ears for 3 days! What's the longest any of you have had ringing in your ears after a concert?

I've heard of that ringing thing. There's supposedly another part of that superstition. After your ear rings, you have to ask the first person who see to give you a number from 1 to 26. Once they give you the number, you have to use that number of the alphabet. When you get the letter, that is the firstletter of the person talking about you.

For example, if somebody chooses 2, that is a B because B is the second letter of the alphabet. I know it's stupid, but that's what some people do.

If you have an itchy nose, you're going to get into a fight.

If you have an itchy palm, you're going to come into money.

If your private parts are itchy, you're ripe and overdue for a shower. (added that one myself)

It's true that if your ears are ringing someone is talking about you. Just one catch though. When that happens, it's a mystical experience. Mystyical experiences are not necessarily taking place in 'real time'. So when your ears are ringing it could be from a time when you were four years old or from a time that you have yet to expeience know as 'Into The future'! On a level more easily comprehensible, itchy crotch area is always a current and immediate experience -- no future, no past, just...of the moment. You can take a shower and be assured that your discomfort will be alleviated. That is unlsess the crotch itch was not realted to hygiene. ;)
