Can anybody tell me why there were 3 episodes during the final season that focused completely on groups of one-shot characters? In each case, only 2 of the main cast prominently appeared and one of them played a different character than usual. There was one with Charles/Buddy, one with Charles/Lillian, and a third with Sarah/Jamie. In each case the rest of the cast hardly appeared...
