I saw an advertisement one time for The DVD Show, and Laura comes out of the closet laying on her stomach smiling, on a while bunch of walnuts. I think they were walnuts. Rob looks at her like he is shocked, I think. What was this ep. about? Why was Laura laying on the walnuts? I'm pretty sure this is an ep. :D

I meant to say Laura was laying on, a whole bunch of walnuts.

That was from probably the most popular episode, #50, "It May Look Like a Walnut". In this classic, Rob has a dream - inspired by a late-night horror movie on TV - involving walnuts, missing thumbs, and a creature named Kolac. It was based on "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". The one on the walnuts is really "Lolac", Laura's alien double.
According to Mary Tyler Moore herself, yes, they were real walnuts!

May I suggest to "Fonz" that he check out his local TV Land schedule and become a regular viewer of the Dick Van Dyke Show? You will become a fan. And possibly lose your thumbs and grow another set of eyes. You will only eat walnuts and need an occasional "drink of fresh air." Try it for a couple of weeks then come back and let us know what you think. I have been a Dick Van Dyke show fan since I was 6 years old, which was 40 years ago!
