Insurance is a crock (health insurance, car insurance, ect.). We pay it every month, yet how often does anything happen? Many times nothing happens, and if something happens to you, your car, house, ect chances are you've already paid 5 times that already on your monthly insurance bill through the years. It's a rip off whether anything does or doesn't happen to you. I think that once you reach a certain age you should get a high percentage of the insurance money you didn't use throughout your life. Or maybe, just maybe, we could give a percentage of that to people who can't afford OVERPRICED hospital bills and the like! HEY, why don't we just f*** it all and bring socialized medicine to this country? I mean, it's long over do!

My car insurance used to be high, but it's getting better.
I have life and health insurance taken out of my paycheck every two weeks. It's not that bad.

I agree with you guys about paying out all this money and nothing bad happening. It is very frustrating but it is better to be safe than sorry. The minute someone drops their health/car insurance they end up getting sick or in a car accident so it is always better to have it just in case. As far as socialized medicine goes, I don't like that at all. The government has control over too many things already. I don't want someone telling me which doctor to go to. I have relatives in Canada and they are always complaining about how much the health care system sucks over there. My aunt had to come to the states to get a hearing aid because over there they put you on a waiting list. I don't agree with the way health care is in the US at all but I don't think socialized medicine is the answer. There has to be a better alternative. JMO
