ok where did the ape come from ? Did he just like float onto the island or what ? did he come with the natives that show up from time to time or maybe he floated on with that bomb that they find in the bay in a later episode...but it is seriously bothering me so if anyone knows the answer i would appreciate if you could email me at Becky112582@yahoo.com thanks !

You know, I have posted a message on brain teasers... this would be one of them I didn't include... kind of like this one: if they were only going on a 3 hour tour, why did Mr. and Mrs. Howel bring so much money? They just included that for the episode, no real explanation.... hope this helps!

Well have you read silentbri's theory? He says that Mr Howell is a crook and was planning on getting stranded.

Mr. Howel was an ego-maniac who beleived that his worth as a human being was directly related to how much money he had on hand. Therefore, he brough ton's of money.
As far as the ape is concerned, look at it closely next time you see the episode; you'll notic ehtat it isn't an ape at all, but someone in an ape costume! Now the real mystery begins... break out the Scooby-Snacks! Which one of the castaways did you never see with the Ape? Whoever it was, that is the person who was wearing the ape costume. But what could there motivation have been?

Poor little Gilligan. Did you know he has multiple personality disorder? One minute he's a beetnick, the next he's a first mate. Now Mayard is obviously evil. He's always there somewhere hidden in Gilligan. Since all of the other castaways see Gilligan as Gilligan, Gilligan is Gilligan and not Mayard. Whenever Gilligan isn't around any of the castaways he becomes Mayard.
Mayard want's to be Mayard and be in control of the body and in order to do this he has to get rid of all the other castaways that know Gilligan as Gilligan and make him Gilligan. So it's Mayard dressed as the monkey. You may think you see Gilligan next to the monkey, but that's just a trick with mirrors. If you look closely, you can see things through him.
Mayard also wishes to take over the island and turn it into a Coffee House. First Mayard's Island, and then, the World!!! *Evil Laugh*
Oh well... sitcoms aren't ready for me yet.
