I read somewhere a few months ago (I think it was People on-line magazine) that Everybody Loves Raymond might end this season. Does anyone know if this is true? I haven't heard anything else about whether the show is ending or not.

Personally, I think the show should end either this season or next. I still love it but, IMHO, I think it's starting to get old. It's the same jokes all the time, and all they seem to do now is argue.

I'd still rather watch a bad ELR episode than all the crap reality shows though.

Ray Romano said it might possibly go on for one more season. But he said it definatly wouldn't go up to ten years. I agree, I love this show, and I will watch it no matter what, but the jokes are always about the same things, Debra can't cook, Robert hates Ray, Marie hates Debra, Frank hates everyone.

Spoiler: In the episode that airs in about two weeks, Robert proposes to Amy. But he has to ask her parents for her hand in marriage first. Her parents are played by Fred Willard (Newhart) and Georgia Engel (The Mary Tyler Moore Show), her brother is played by Chris Elliot, most likely because Pee Wee got arrested.

That sounds like a very good episode.
