I just found out last night that Sherman Hemsley made a guest appearance on All in The Family two months after the Jeffersons debuted on CBS on March 8, 1975. I thought George was only on AITF one time after the Jeffersons started their own show. But was George and Mike discussing the House next door on that episode?

Yes, this was the episode where Mike and Gloria rented the old Jefferson house next door and George kept lowering the rent because he wanted Mike living next door to Archie, knowing that would torment him.

Looks like i will have to wait until the spring to get that episode-that's if N@N is still airing it.

George appears twice on AITF since doing "The Jeffersons". He appears in the episode in which you described above with Lionel and in the 1978 farewell episode where the Stivics move to California. Louise appears once after "The Jeffersons" in which she asks Edith to show her old house to prospective buyers.

Yeah I already knew George appeared in 78 on AITF, but just found out two nights ago George appeared 8 weeks later after the Jeffersons made it's debut on CBS in Jan of 75. I really want to see this episode

That is the episode "Mike Makes His Move" and it always is played in the Cosby at Nite rotation.
