What was Gilligans Full Name
I found the rest of the castaways
names but none was there for Gilligan

As far as I knew, he was simply known as "Gilligan", and they never indicated if that was his first or last name. "Cher", "Elvis", and "Gilligan"... the Holy Trinity of single-names....

...Come to think of it, Cousin Oliver on The BRady Bunch didn't have a last name, either!

Uh, gilli's first name was willie. Denver told that to the nation on some interview. Willy Gilligan. Gay, huh?

HI!! As you can tell by my name, i like ginger better than gilligan, but i know a little about him. Gilligan was his last name. During the show many people asked the producer and writer why gilligan's first name was never used and if they could tell them what it was. So the producer and writer decided on "Willie" as Gilligan's first name. Although they never actually "said" gilligan's first name on t.v, according to the producer, his name was "willie" ...I don't think it fits him....do u?

The character's real name is Willy Gilligan! But he argued only to use Gilligan!
