But, seeing as it wasn't THAT popular of a series in the 80s (meaning, not in the top 5) it probably wouldn't happen...but who knows? In 2004, Emma and Jenny will be just a few years younger than Kate & Allie were when the show originated. The material seems ripe. Emma and Jenny as career girls, with maybe husbands, and maybe not. From the appearances and stuff, seems like they're all still in the business (except Susan St. James and maybe the girl who played Emma), so i'd bet they would do it if it was written and such. I agree wholeheartedly. I was a child of the 1980's and almost everyone of my peers watched the show, and remembers it now with a lot of affection. As I said in a previous post, the material is there. Look at the top sitcom right now, "Friends". Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry were born the same year as Allison Smith and Ari Meyers. Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimer and Courtney Cox are just a couple years older. A "Kate & Allie" reunion would be a ratings bonanza. bb25 02-03-2003, 02:04 AM This makes me think of a clip from the "100th Episode" show of Kate & Allie - they're really old - here's the scene...
