This show isn't all that funny, and it has no place on tv. Thats just what I think though. Putting it on sunday nights after the simpsons, king of the hill, and malcolm...pssh...I wih the x-files were still on. lol

I love the show. Personally I think it's the only thing worth watching in the current schedule. In fact, it IS the only thing I watch that's not a rerun on TV Land.

I like it too because it's just sort of a great show where you don't have to worry about this long storyline, all you have to do is tune in, and you'll laugh.

ANDY RICHTER CONTROLS THE UNIVERSE (March 2002 – January 2003, FOX) (https://jacksonupperco.com/2023/11/07/short-lived-sitcom-potpourri-pop-out-andy-richter-controls-the-universe/)

Thoughts: Heralded at the time for its imagination, this single-camera ensemble (https://web.archive.org/web/20140406112618/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/1883577-andy-richter-controls-the-universe/?view=getnewpost) workplace comedy (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031125335/http://www.jumptheshark.com/a/andyrichter.htm) from FOX is otherwise very traditional in design, even more so than Scrubs, which is more specific in its storytelling because its hospital location is not the generic corporate office culture spoofed here. Today, seen alongside shows like Scrubs, Malcolm, and the forthcoming Arrested Development, Andy Richter’s narration, fantasy sequences, and smash-cut gags don’t seem quite so inventive — they’re more part of a trend than a rebellious aberration.
