Ok, fess up...who's done it???

I was babysitting my sisters last night and we decided to do some prank calling. And I didn't wanna get in trouble for it so I decided to call my friend Erin. So, my 11 year old sister called Erin and asked for her to come to the fone...since everybody down at that house knows who I am. Ok, so then I got the fone and I had some Good Charlotte music in the backround and I put on a New York accent and was like, "Hi...I'm Ashley from TRL in New York. We tracked everybody who voted for Good Charlotte on MTV.com and Erin, U WON A TRIP TO TRL TO MEET JOEL BENJI BILLY AND PAUL!! How does that feel Erin??" She was all screaming and then she stopped and was like, "Yeeeeeeeea, I REALLY believed u :rolleyes:" So, it didn't work out, but she prank called me once so I hadta TRY to get her back. NEwayz, for NE1 who has prank called , or BEEN prank called...share ur stories!

Prank calls are all well and good if you're pranking one of your friends but my mother kept getting prank calls from this mad woman about 12 years ago. She kept calling up and telling my mother that my dad was having an affair, and one time she called she told my mum that my dad was dead! That was not funny!
I've never actually prank-called anyone myself. I was at a sleepover once when I was 14 and the other girls all wanted to prank-call this girl who was in our year cos she'd gotten us all into trouble at school. Even though she'd pissed me off I still didn't think there was any need to phone her house in the middle of the night and make weird noises down the phone at her. That kinda thing can really scare people.
Basically, I think there are more productive things a person can do than terrorise others over the phone.

Once some drunk guy called like twice when i was online and left messages on my Callwave about selling viagra.

my ten year old cousin prank called some businesses the other night and his family no longer has a phone cuz the company disconnected it.. so yah id only do it to friends. prank IMing is quite fun tho too

Once, when the whole Titanic craze was going on, me and my friend found a Jack Dawson in the phone book. So we called the number wanting to talk to Jack and say, "I'll never let go" then hang up. A woman answered and we asked to talk to Jack and she said, "My husband died a few months ago and I don't appreciate this," and then she hung up. So that wasn't too pleasant.

Yeah I used to do it to my friend all the time... I called her up once and said I was Shim Gayfer with gaytown realty. LOL long story. And she called me up and sang "rice rice gravy" and hung up, and another time I called her house and I sang that sixpence none the richer song there she goes and she was like who the hell is this? it was really funny, one time we called up old navy and ask them if their polka-dot sun dresses had come in yet (with hillbilly accents) and they said lemme go check in the back, and when they picked back up we went "NUUUUURRR RETARDUH" and hung up. :lol: :rotflmao: and one time we called up star 94 in Atlanta and asked them if they had any hank williams tapes... lol the guy was like "umm...im afraid not." damn those were the good ol days.

@ this party I went to in 8th grade we called this kid who used to go to our school and told them that he was doing drugs ect...yeah it wasn't nice, but funny..

When me and my friend were 5 and 6, she had her own phone and we got a phone book and we looked up random numbers and called em and said stuff like "ur a stupid idiotioc moron" and hung up :lol: sometimes we would say nasty things and she told me the # to the coke company and i prank called it and said something nasty and hung up, it was hilarious.

Ooh well once we prank called my orchestra teacher and we got in trouble. Not fun. Oh and this isn't really a PRANK call but when Whitney was here we called the video stores in a southern accent and @ Borders we did this whole story thing with the guy and I called him sugar :lol:

When I was 10 I called up one of my cousin's enemies and said "This is Colonel Sanders are your thighs crispy?" It was so stupid LOL

I used to do it. The last time I did me and a friend called up another one of my friends and Marcy cries while telling Heather that I got so drunk that I drowned in the lake and that I was in the ICU at St Mary's Hospital in room 424 and that she didn't know whether I was going to pull through or not. Heather actually fell for it she came to the hospital looking for me. That really wasn't funny but at that time it was.

in middle school my "friends" and i used to prank-call people all the time. i was always the one they had talk cause i could do all these voices and accents...

Prank phone calls annoy the hell out of me. Once, this guy kept calling us and not saying anything. My mom got the duck calling thing ready to do next time...but he never called back. :( And this past year, like everyday @ 5am we'd get a call.. it was weird. Finally, one day my mom called back and left an message on their machine. They never called back. Ohh.. LOl. And a few months ago this old bitch called me who worked for a credit card co. asking for my brother and stuff. He doesnt live here! She was asking all these questions: Who are you? Where is he? etc. My parents came back hours later, I told them and my mom called back (much to my fathers dismay LOl). And she left a message. Something like, if you ever call here doing that to my daughter again Ill report you and see you in court LOl, you friggan *******! About 5 minutes later, they called back. My mom dialed the wrong number.:eek: :blush: LOl.. but she called back and got the same lady. Meangya, the lady was a bitch and a half. Shes like, do you speak english? My moms like ya, do you you *******??!!!? Ha. It was funny. My moms a tough cookie.

I wished I had a caller ID...

*69 doesn't always work, and they charge 75 cents everytime you use it. :lol:

I used to do it all the time with my friends, lol. In sixth grade...omg, we'd do that for the longest time. Except we wouldn't dial random numbers. We actually looked in the phone book. Hmm....the one i remember the most was when we called an eye doctor and said "I have contacts lost in my eyes and I can't find them." Omg, it was too funny. He actually booked an appointment for us :eek: :eek: :eek: and then we hung up. lol...but I don't do that anymore. It doesn't seem as funny anymore....



But sometimes, when people prank call you, it can be fun to play along with them. One time this group of girls called me...they were having a sleepover or something like that and they were like "Hello, is Mike there?" and they expected me to believe they were really looking for a Mike...mmhmm...they were only cracking up while they were saying it...LOL. So now I know how people felt when I used to do that...ooooh. Anyway, I was like "Umm....you have the wrong number." And they were all "Noooooooo let me talk to Mike!" And then I was like oh whatever and I hung up on them. Five minutes later they called back laughing hysterically and saying "Hello....is Mike there?" Stupid. Lol but I decided to play along this time and I was like "Oh yeah, hold on." And then I could hear them saying things like "OMG...." etc...so then I came back on the phone and started talking like a guy and I was like yeah I'm Mike...wsup. And I started asking them why they were looking for "me" and who they were and stuff and then I think they got scared because then they hung up. :)

Okay I have a few:
Once when I was about 6 or 7 I decicded to call my friend Liz and tell ehr I was a robber. Well, she wasn't home so I left a message in this deep groggy voice saying I was a robber and goping to come attack her. Well, a few weeks later I fessed up and told her,a nd she was like "oh, that was you? i thought it was my cousin calling telling me she was sick." I was like OK.
This doesn't concern me but my friends called Burger King and asked for a Big Mac on purpose.
Oh this doesn't really count as a prank call, but the person on the other end of the phone line might think it was. Okay, so I went to call Liza nd I was about 8,a nd I ahd accidently dialed the wrong number. So the lady goes, "hello?" And from ehr voice I knew I ahd the wrong number, so i was like "oh, I am sorry I ahve the wrong number. She was like "what?" I'm like "I have the wrong number." She goes "okay let me go get her." So, I am thinking what the heck? What's this ladie's probelm. So I ddin't want to be rude so i didn't hang up. I waited for oh about 4 minutes,a nd then I heard this playing in he background and a "hunny grandma is on the phone for you!" I'm like oh my gosh this is wacked! So this 5 year old gets on the phone and was like "Hi Grandma!" I got scared and hung up. The poor girl probably thought her grandma was some mean wreched women for awhile. HA.
Anotehr time my cousin called 911 whiel ehr momw as in the shower. they were like "what's the emergency?" She's like "Oh nothing." They were liek "were's your mom?" She goes, "oh, in the shower." and hung up. So when my Aunt got out of the shwoer the ambulance and police were there and she was like "why are you here?" And they were like "your daughter called, and we wanted to make sure everything is ok." My cousin got in so much trouble.

I haven't done prank calling in a couple of months. I don't have many good ideas and I'm ususally with a friend while doing them. But fortunally on Caller ID, my number comes up as private.

Ive done Parnk Calling when I was young LOL...it was pretty funny..but now I dont think it is

ive pranked called some people a few times, but i always get pranked called


~one time there was a pay phone at my middle school and i was standing by it, and i answered it and they thought it was the office and they were looking for Joseph. It was really funny. i told hey ill put them on the phone with Moses and then my friend started talking to her and i told her i was Jesus and that Joseph,God and Mary were in a meeting discussing Noah. Finally we hung up on the women. I did feel bad cos she was really looking for her son, but oh well.

~one time, me and my friend were sitting in a phone box... i cant really explain it, but it was a pay phone. It was really late at night and i was with a few people and we were like in a parking lot waiting to get picked up and we were just talking and then the phone just all of a sudden RANG! it was so scary, i mean we didnt expect it. we jumped up and knocked it off the hook. My friend Mike picked up the phone and started talking to them (it was 2 girls) they were asking who we were, then my friend Mike put my friend Julia on and the girls just kept saying "turtle, turtle, turtle turtle" over and over and Julia said "ok thats one too many times, so stop it" and then they hung up. well the phone rang again and my friend Mike told us to be really quiet and he picked it up and said "911 emerancy" really serious and they hung up... it was soooo funny. they didnt call back after that.

if u ever get a prank call just pick up the phone and say "911 emerancy" it will scare the **** out of them.

I used to do it all the time. I'd call random numbers and ask for made up people, but this one time I called a number and asked for Jesse, and the person on the other end said "Yeah he is, who is this, Trisha?" I hung up and that was the last time I ever did that.

yeah, I used to do it. I was over at my friend James' house and we called up Shoppers Drug Mart and ask them if they had any shoppers. they're like yes we have lots. lol it was funny.

I used to love connecting 2 people together and let them talk....

One time I called a friend who also had 3 way calling..... I randomly called someone and so did he...... They both picked up about the same time...... They started talking and 5 mins into it my friend played a song that said something about something hitting the fan and they heard it and said "We better hang up" :D

This was 30+ years ago........

Another time I connected 2 operators together and they were confused how they got each other... They talked about 5 mins or so......

It was a 950# so it was easy to dial 2 different instances and connect them together with 3 way........ (I dialed 09501003 and the 6 second delay while it went thru the operators equiptment made it easy to do it before they came on)

It was fun I guess..........
