The Hallmark Channel's 8:30am showing of Happy Days seems to have been replaced w/repeats of "Alf." Not sure about the afternoon showings ... does anyone know whats going on?

Yes, I noticed yesterday that the afternoon episodes of happy days have been replaced by Alf! The programs posted on the Hallmark website show that they should have broadcasted happy days instead. What's going on?! Another thing that is getting to me about the Hallmark channel is that they cut the show in the middle of a sentence with their commercials. Can't they do a better job? I hate this channel.

Maybe they lost rights, or it is on hiatus? If they did lose rights, TV Land needs to air it!

No!!!! I just looed at the site's scheduale , Happy days is on , do not panic , and I do not get TV Land, so thne if Happy Days is there i couldn't watch (except for KDFI)

Good! I am glad to see "Happy Days" gone from Hallmark's schedule. Hallmark just didn't seem like right channel for Happy Days. I hope TV Land picks it up soon along w/ its spin-off "Laverne & Shirley".

Note: "Laverne & Shirley" is off the air too.

No, it's never aired on TV Land in the US but it's on TV Land in Canada currently.

I was praying that if it ever left HALLMARK, that it would go to TV Land, because, when THE ODD COUPLE left Nick-at-Nite(like HAPPY DAYS did), it went to COMEDY CENTRAL, and, eventually, went to TV Land

No matter what the website says, it has obviously been shown (if you've watched it and checked TV Guide) that ALF has replaced HD... Sorry.

I don't get TV Land , I wnat it on some toher channel , maybe like KDFI ( that doesnt interrupt the theme, so watch on KDFI27) or the Fox Channel ( not fox4) one of those ones, or maybe back to nick at nite, or I will just have to get Happy Days episdoes taped i really wnat it I first started as a big fan in August!! Happy Days on Hallmark has lost its way...

I'd rather see it on the Family Channel or WTBS or WGN. WTBS carried the show before, you know. Maybe even Fox or one of its affiliates?

I know that the TV guides and online programs show that it is on, but it is NOT anymore. It must have been a sudden problem with the show.

TV Guides always let us know that e programming is subject to change, and, I think the same goes for online TV schedules

I was so mad to see that HD wasn't on anymore. I needed only a couple more episodes to compete the my collection. I really hope TV Land picks it up.

I e-mailed Hallmark and they said that they replaced "Happy Days" with "Alf" due to low ratings. They also dropped "America's Funniest Home Videos" and replaced that with "Hart to Hart". I also e-mailed T.V. Land to request that they pick up the show. I have not yet recieved a reply from T.V. Land. T.V. Land did reply when I requested that they carry another favorite old show of mine, the 60s "Batman" T.V. show, which shows that they do look at their e-mails (Batman is coming to T.V. Land, hopefully in the next year).

I don't know how you came to that conclusion TJ, but Happy Days DID air on TV Land in the United States! Trust me, my father has a house in Laredo TX, and just after the summer until about november they were Happy Days crazy! There was even a weekend where they showed nothing but Happy Days until all the episodes were aired. Also, for you American's who don't get HD don't consider Canadians lucky. HD is in TV here in Canada, but only one or two showings a day and they are on at like 2:00am!

Check the date on the post. It was from November 2001, TV Land started to air HD in January 2002.

btw, TV Land never aired an entier weekend of HD.
