Hi!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I haven't been able to catch UM in months (shame on me, but no cable where I live...you know how it is when you're going to college and money is tight). But I did find an old tape of episodes in a box today, and I had questions about two different cases. Have either of these been solved yet?

1) The case of Pat (Patricia Ann Carlton) who disappeared at the age of 29, sometime around 1971-72, from her home in Texas; she was the lady who lost her memory from a brain aneurysm, and kept wandering off from her home. The last time she left, she turned up some miles away in California and some of her memory had returned. Authorities contacted her aunt, who didn't believe it was really Pat, and did nothing to follow up. Pat totally disappeared after that.

2) Jeffrey (or Geoffrey) Sullivan, who vanished in the 60s after getting involved in govt. related undercover stuff in Cuba. Rumor has it he was captured in Havana.

Thanks-
Allie

There still has been no update to the Patricia Ann Carlton case and I'm not surprised. That's going to be a long shot, but hopefully she will be found some day.

I don't remember the other case.

Dear AllieRain,

You might find some new info if you try a search on Yahoo!- it is one possibility. If I have time, I might go and see if I can find some info in regards to the two people you spoke about in your above post. I apologize, because I am not familiar with the names of the people whom you alluded to. But again, I will try to see if there may be any new information. If there is, I will pass it along. Thanks. See ya round!

Sincerely,

EyesoftheNile

Hiya EotN and Dyno!

Thanks so much for your help. I only have 7 episodes on tape (planning to purchase more from Johnnyangel soon) and those two are the ones that stick out the most to me.

To whom it may concern:
I have a website that has missing and unidentified people from all over the world and from any period of time in the last 100 years. It is www.doenetwork.org and just scroll down to search and type in patricia ann synder from texas and it shows a mugshot of her that was taken in 1977 in Seattle, Washington for some unknown reason. So at least I can tell you she was known to be alive as of 1977, after that however no one knows what happened to her!!

I just read the updates on the www.doenetwork.org websight which showed Patricia's case and showed a mugshot of her in Seattle in 1977. When I went to read the updates today they said that Patricia has been located and is safe. I will write the people who run the websight and find out all I can on this case. So if it is true that is really a miracle because it has been 12 years since the case aired on Unsolved Mysteries for the first time!

Hate to dig up old threads, but I saw the Geoffrey Sullivan case today and although there are no new updates about his fate, his daughter sued the Cuban government for $21 million and won. The suit contended that the Cuban government attacked Sullivan's plane and took him prisoner where they executed him. The weird thing is they have no evidence that this actually happened other than the one eyewitness shown in the segment who says he was in jail with Sullivan. I don't know what to think, I personally think it's just as likely that Sullivan's plane crashed, but I thought it was an interesting update nonetheless.
