I always promise myself, this time, Im not going to spend my money on myself. Then, today I go out shopping and I completly lose it. I bought a J.Lo, Britney, and Chippendales calendar (Meangya, I got the old ones from 2002 still on April..) 4 shirts, 1 fleece pullover, a pillow, 2 pens, a dog toy (for my dogs..LOl), thin CD cases, a Britney single CD, and 3 bags. That makes a grandtotal of 5 new bags this week. Im such a bag freak! Anyways.. do you spoil yourself even though you say youre going to save it?

Now all my $$ is gone..:crying:

See my problem is I don't know how to stop. I'll go to ebay and I'll find something that I absolutely want. I'll save a shortcut to the desktop and I'll keep my eye on the auction. During the last hour, if I'm home I'll try to watch the auction page. I refresh it like a million times and let's say if someone raises the bid to about 20 bucks. You have about 10 minutes left before the auction ends. I'll bid just the increments. I'm not about to raise it to 40 bucks. I'll have my set limit. I will bid until I get to 30 bucks. If 30 bucks isn't the highest bid, I'll stop. I never can do that. I'll get to 30 bucks and I start to thinking that I will kick my own ass if the bid is 31 bucks and I would've had it if I had just bidded one more time. So I always go in debt when it comes to ebay. lol

I was bidding for a Kelly autograph 1 time and it was $20 and some1 outbid me so i bidded $45 and i won lol. Then when i had to pay i only had like $50 and there were a few other things i had to pay for so i needed like $20. lol that wasnt very good planning. Awhile ago i almost got kicked offa ebay cuz i would bid on SO many things, then i'd be like "i just wont get that and that and i'll pay for this and this when i have enuff money" and i got reported lol.

I have to hide my own money from myself. You know those brown paper bags? That's what I hide it in. I bought 2 or 3 pics and that's how I would keep track. I'd put the cash to cover the Burgess Meredith picture in the brown paper bag and write 'Burgess pic' on the front of it. Then I'd hide it in a notebook so I won't spend that money.

I try to budget the stuff and it never comes out right. I got some Christmas money and of course I went wild at ebay and I wrote down everything that I wanted to bid on and added the prices up. Then I'd have to eliminate stuff and that always sucks. I did get a bunch of loot, so I'm happy about that.

Ooh, since you brought up feedback in another post let me add this. I am very good with giving out feedback. It royally pisses me off when I leave someone feedback and they don't leave me feedback. I should've already gotten a new star. I've got a blue star now. What comes after the blue stars?

I'm lucky because I'm in a position where I have a steady income and I'm pretty much able to buy myself whatever I want, whenever I want. Having said that, I haven't really spoiled myself much recently. I've pretty much got all the stuff I want now so I'm pretty cool with what I have.
When I first got my job I went a bit crazy with my money. My parents are tight b@stard$ and never gave me a decent allowance so when I started earning my own money I thought "great. Now I can finally get what I want!"
I bought loads of new clothes, a big stereo system, a widescreen TV, 2 DVD players (and I now have over 70 DVD's), a new VCR, a Gameboy Advance and about 11 games and I got digital satelite TV installed in my bedroom.

I am the same with you guys about Ebay....I go insane...People don't realize how addictive it is! I have gotten alot better than how I used to be but I still can't resist... And with the Vivien Leigh photo's I go bonkers.... They had a Vivien and Larry autograph and I bid upto $250...I'm glad I didn't win that. I'm selling a few things now but noone is bidding! I hope it's not the one negative in my feedback! I was so mad, It was the day before my vacation and I told him I wouldn't know if I won so I would send the payment after...So a few days later no reply so I think he just said whatever...I send payment...then they want to know where it is! I tell them I send a money order...they call me all sorts of names and I told them if they didn't beleive me i would send them a new money order with a copy of the receipt from the last one! But they TOTALLY ignored me...left negative feedback and called SafeHarbour on me...great. I can really hates ebayers sometimes...you never know how there gonna be..

You just have to trust the feedback. Before I bid, I always check out the feedback. I really wished ebay had an option where you could click on negative feedback and get all of a person's neg. feedback all together. It's a pain in the butt to scroll through feedback for someone that has 10,000+.

I've only been half burned once on ebay. It took forever to get what I had bought from this one seller and the whole auction was just a pain in the ass. I didn't fully get ripped off. At least I got something. I left the person a Neutral feedback. That's the only bad feedback I've ever left for anybody. He deserved it, though. It took forever to get one picture. If I hadn't received the pic at all, I would've left a neg.

I've never sold anything on ebay. I've never tried to sell anything on ebay. I just buy stuff and go into debt. At least if you sell stuff, you can make a bit of a profit back.

I am crazy when it comes to clothes, shoes, makeup. One day last summer, I went to the mall and came home with a bag of new clothes and like 8 new pairs of shoes. I only buy things that are on sale or clearance.....but LOOK OUT if you find me in the mall on a sale day. They charge .$30 an item (maybe more for things over $10, I can't remember) and if you sell it, they take a small share of the profits.
