Janice 01-19-2003, 07:31 PM My favorite is Good Will Hunting.
Goodwill Hunting and I think Good Morning Vietnam qualifies as one of those parts that took an actors career to a higher level. As in the other thread we're whittling away at here.
Rhiannon 01-19-2003, 08:26 PM I think Patch Adams was filmed near my area

jamier42 01-23-2003, 06:19 PM Robin Williams is one of my most favorite actors he is so funny.
My favorite movies of his are Mrs. Doubtfire, Nine Months, Jack, Patch Adams.
isiahthomas 01-26-2003, 10:51 PM Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Insomnia. I still haven't seen Awakenings or Mrs Doubtfire, i wanna see both of those. Did ya'll see him in Toys with LL Cool J? I haven't seen that. I remember when i used to watch him on Mork & Mindy. Robin had me cracking up in Good Morning Vietnam, that's a very good movie.
Christopher 01-27-2003, 03:05 AM Mrs. Doubtfire, Jack, and One Hour Photo.
callmetootie 01-27-2003, 09:15 AM Well...I felt that he was truly best in One Hour Photo, just because he was so creepy and gave me the chills for days. I felt that his other suspense film of the year, Insomnia was nowhere to the level of fright for which One Hour Photo delivered. As for comedies, Mrs Doubtfire was clearly his best. He really doesn't have too many BAD movies other than "Jack". He will get an oscar nomination this year...trust me.
isiahthomas 01-27-2003, 12:40 PM Barnabas do u live in Collinwood, Ohio? I think Robin was good in Caddilac Man with Tim Robbins & Anabella Sciorra.

CollegeGirl 02-24-2003, 11:29 PM I remember studying Robin Williams in a high school drama class years ago. I was in awe of him. I am a huge fan of his early work. It was so raw, and yet he had such a knack of making people laugh. He just has that natural talent. He used to do street acts, where'd he'd just go out in public and do improvs. I'm in a theatre group now, and I wish we'd all go do something like that. Williams is great now. His work has become so much more refined. But, to me, those early years will always be significant.
Schmoopie 09-07-2008, 03:07 AM Good Morning Vietnam is my favorite, followed by The Bird Cage and Dead Poet's Society.
