The Navy without even noing it. Now I did meet with a Navy recruiter today,but we just dicussed about the navy and job opertunites within the Navy I never once mentioned about getting a job with them or signing up for that matter. I say I think I got a job with them because they called me this evening and said I need to lose 10 pounds so I can get that job. The problem is I don't even know what the job is. I will say the Navy is an excellent oppertunity for a recent HighSchool graduate like myself,but I'm not sure its for me. Now I don't know what to do? I guess I have to lose 10 pounds then see what happens next.

Well, good luck losing the weight anyway. Maybe it will turn out to be okay.

Thanks DG! I can lose they weight pretty easily,right now I weigh 230 and stand at 6'3. Before I make a decision about the Navy I am going to meet with the recruiter again to get more info and also talk to my friends,family and my church about it. Once all of the snow is melted and it warms up whether I join the Navy or not I am going to get into real good shape lots of running at the track and some weight liftings at HARC. I'm just thankful Holdrege will be building a YMCA this summer. I'm going to try and weigh between 190 and 200 that is my goal.

Speaking as a former member of the US Navy, I can assure you that you are not employed by the Navy. That is until you sign several documents, take a long rigorous physical and get sworn in.

Well I'm confused by the recruiter,because he called a few hours after our meeting and said you need to lose 10 pounds so I can get you the job,he never said what job or what I have to do now I'm very very:confused:

well whatever happens, good luck with it.. maybe you should try asking him what's up instead of just guessing... ya know?
