I went to that site. Man i am so stoked. I cannot wait. I guess I'll have to take a break from the George Wendt video collecting and save up my money for ..............."Cheers: Season 1". Now I already have all of them on tape, but who cares! I'm sure there is going to be some special features. And season 1 did have an unaired episode. So Damn, this is crazy!

That would be real stupid if they didn't release the entire series.

Someone said when they started airing on N@N that they were new, re-mastered versions. So perhaps we've seen a sneak peak the last year:confused: :talk:

They will, undoubtedly, be the "remastered" prints that have been running on Nick At Nite. The only difference is that the episodes on the discs will be uncut, and they may have a remixed surround track (if possible).

As always, for the past 1 million years, where did you find this info..site please...and remember people! ALWAYS include the source!

It's from:

http://www.thedigitalbits.com/rumormill.html

This is the most reliable source other than Mr. DVD knocking on your door. This is where I heard about "Friends" coming out by seasons on DVD and "All in the Family" coming on DVD.

I'm extremely excited, as you all are. But, considering that season one is four DVDs, collecting all seasons (once they are all released) is going to be very costly. It may be too early to be asking this but, does anyone have a price estimate yet?

Nothing is official, but it will probably be $50, seeing it is 22 episodes.

"Mad About You" had 22 episodes with 2 discs and they were $25.

"Friends" had 24 episodes with 4 discs and it was $50.

So I am 95% sure it is $50.

This is all very exciting.

I'm glad they're using four discs and not two. If you compress the episodes too much, you lose video and sound quality.

God, I so want Cheers and Frasier on DVD but because I live in Australia it will cost me $100 or more to buy each set, with snly luck they will be released here and I'll be able to get them a little cheaper.
