For at least the second rerun cycle in a row, and for an unknown reason, TVLand skipped episode 51, It May Look Like a Walnut, in the DVD Show rerun cycle. TVL reran episode 50, My Husband Is a Check-Grabber, yesterday, and it reran episode 52, Don't Trip Over That Mountain today. I don't know why TVL is skipping the Walnut episode again, unless it's only allowed to rerun episodes a certain number of times and reran this one more often than the others in the past and is now having to make up for it by skipping it. BTW, coincidentally the Walnut ep was originally filmed 40 years ago today (1/15/63) and aired on CBS just over three weeks later on Feb. 6, 1963. It's certainly a classic ep of a classic series.

I wrote to TV Land about this phenomenon a while back when they skipped over "Coast-to Coast Big Mouth" a couple of times. It was explained to me that they are allowed by contract to run the shows only once in a certain time period. If they ran "It My Look Like a Walnut" in one of their Box Sets or Best of blocks, then they skip it during the regular rotation. It is so annoying. I really look forward to my favorite episodes in their proper order. I really hope Doug Denoff can get that DVD set together. I will buy it in a minute! Lolac

Its not only annoying, its *dumb*. Who makes up those idiotic rules, anyway? That monkey they say has writers block?? Or maybe its the bowling pin or the peanut?! Jeez...

"It may look like a walnut" is one of my favorite episodes. Let's hope TV Land doesn't skip it again

I suggest taping em this time around... so this explains why #51 and #128 were skipped...
