Do you think the writers should give Martin some juicier storylines? I love the Martin Crane character and would like to see more of him. However, I've noticed that his character lately has been used for simple comic relief and hasn't been featured that much. What do you guys think?

I think they should, I kind of wish the show would focus a little less on Frasier and more on Martin, since Frasier is really starting to bother me for some reason. Maybe Martin could get a girlfriend...Maybe Ma Clavin...nah..but she is single still I think..

Well you must admit, Martin is pretty good at the comic sideplots - I think his are always the best! But I agree that he deserves some better storylines and more episodes about him, rather than Frasier. The episodes which involve both him and Frasier in a central plot are good too though, because of the contrast between them. Especially when he wins out over his son. It's great when Frasier gets brought down a peg or two by his 'less sophisticated' Dad. A favourite ep of mine is the one with the guy who lives above Frasier, Cam Winston, and his mother. Frasier was funny in that but Martin was given a strong supporting part.

Don't mean to stray from the subject, but did the Winstons ever return? I ask because I am British and have yet to see all but the first 3 eps of season 10!

No they haven't. Not that I can remember anyway. I know the actor that plays Cam Winston is currently on Broadway performing in the musical, Man of La Mancha.
